Biography
오성익 기획관은 제주 출생으로 국토교통부 지적재조사업무를 총괄하고 있다. 1996년 행정고시 합격 후, 해양수산부, 국토교통부, 대통령직속 지역발전위원회에서 근무해 왔다. 서울대학교 국제경제학과에서 학사학위를 받았고, 하버드 대학교 케네디스쿨과 터프츠대학 플레처스쿨에서 각각 석사학위를, 존스홉킨스대학교 국제대학원(SAIS)에서 국제정치학 박사학위를 받았으며, 연세대학교 행정대학원 겸임교수로도 활동하고 있다. 저서로는 「Overseas Energy Investment of Korea and Japan」(영문) 등이 있다.
Seong-Ik OH, who was born and raised in Jeju, works as Director General for Cadastral Resurvey Planning at Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. He received Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University and Master’s degrees from Harvard Kennedy School and Tufts University, respectively. Also, he earned a Ph.D. from School of Advanced International Studies(SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. He has worked as a civil servant at Ministry of Ocean and Fisheries(MOF), Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport(MOLIT), and Presidential Committee for Regional Development. He is also an adjunct professor at Graduate School of Public Administration, Yonsei University. He authored Overseas Energy Investment of Korea and Japan(Palgrave McMillan. 2023) and co-authored Big Picture 2017: 4th Industrial Revolution and Irony of Isolationism(Thinking Garden. 2017).
