Young-hoon Ahn, a Korean national and Senior Researcher Fellow, now assumes the vice-chair of KALGS (Korea Association of Local Government Studies) and works in the Krila (Korea Research Institute for Local Administration), giving lectures to public officials. He has been serving as one of the expert members for the Presidential committee on Local Autonomy Development since 2004 up to the present time, and for the National Assembly’s Constitutional Revision Special Committee in 2017. He has also collaborated with the OECD High-Level Risk Forum Team since 2012 (Disaster Management and Reduction Policy).
