Gayoon Yang is an undergraduate student from Jeju who is deeply passionate about sustainability. She works as an SDG facilitator for SDSN Youth Korea, dedicated to educating, connecting, and supporting young activists. Currently pursuing a major in Sustainable Development and Cooperation at Yonsei University, Gayoon possesses a wide range of interests in the field of sustainable development. As a member of the Global Environmental Youth Korea (GEYK), Gayoon strives to raise public awareness about the climate change. Additionally, she holds a strong interest in fostering peace in Jeju and has spearheaded a project aimed at enhancing awareness of the Jeju 4.3 incident. Gayoon aspires to create a more inclusive and compassionate global community, making the world a better place for everyone.
