The primary advocate for Sustainable Development Goals in the Philippines and a responsible Entrepreneur supporting national industries, Xavier Peredo has led different initiatives to ensure sectoral engagement and mobilization for different causes in the civil society and the private and public sector. As a Civil Society leader, Xavier Peredo has been at the fore front of fighting for key issues in the Philippines since 2013. Young People’s Health has been a key issue that Xavier Peredo has been focusing on. By a trustee of the “Forum on Family Planning and Development”, he is fighting against teenage pregnancy the country. From 2020 to 2023, Xavier Peredo also headed the Philippine Smoke-Free Movement, the biggest Tobacco Control advocacy movement in the country. Youth Governance and participation also holds great importance in his work. Since 2015, Xavier Peredo has fought for key legislation and programs which includes SK (Local Youth Council) Reform, SK financial independence, compensation for SK officials, and Training for Youth Civil Societies. As a business owner, Xavier’s vision is to build an enterprise which promotes linking small businesses to key markets in the Capital Region. He is a responsible Business owner who promotes decent work for all.
