Ko Kye-Sung is a Professor at Kyungnam University and president of the Tourism Sciences Society of Korea(TOSOK), the largest and the most authoritative of its kind in Korea with over 8,000 members. He is a member of the Tourism Advisory Panel for Gyeongsangnam-do, an evaluator for the Korea Tourism Organization, an evaluator for the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, an evaluator for the Korea Culture & Tourism Institute and a senior executive at the Gyeongnam Tourism Organization. He has published six books and over 60 articles in academic journals so far.
