MIN Tae-Eun

Biography

Dr. TaeEun Min is a research fellow of Peace Research Division in Korea Institute for National Unification(KINU). She received her MA degree from University of Chicago, Ph. D degree from University of Iowa, majoring in Political science. Her major areas of interest are American politics, US Foreign Policy, public opinion, and South Korea’s Unification Policy. She has published numerous reports, articles and books on Korea–U.S. Relations, South Korea’s unification policy, North Korea’s nuclear issues and North Korean defectors, including 「US Democracy Promotion Policy: focusing on Northeast Asia」 (2022), 「U.S.’s Peace Policy and Prospects: Building Peace on the Korean Peninsula via ROK-U.S. Relations」 (2021), 「The U.S.’s Sanctions against North Korea: Political Background and Legal Analysis」 (2020), 「Unification and North Korean Policy involving the General Public」 (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022), 「Grand Unification Plan」 (2016, 2017).
