Biography

Akira Igata is a Project Lecturer at the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo. He is also an Adjunct Senior Fellow at Pacific Forum, a Non-Resident Senior Fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI), a Director of the Japan Association for Cellular Agriculture (JACA), and a Non-Executive Director at the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). He advises the Japanese government, bureaucracy, and the private sector in various capacities. His expertise is on Economic Security, Human Rights diplomacy, Cellular Agriculture, Counter-Influence Operation, International Politics in the Indo-Pacific
