Dr. Lee, Yoo-Soo of the Korea Energy Economics Institute received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics from Korea University, and his doctorate in regional science from Cornell University, USA. He mainly focused on policy research related to the structure and market of the electric power industry and is currently the managing director of the Energy Carbon Neutrality Research Group after serving as the managing director of the Electric Power Policy Research Group and Energy Transition Policy Research Group in the Energy Economics Research Institute. On the other hand, he was a member of General Subcommittee of the 10th Basic Plan for Power Supply and Demand and Policy Committee of the 3rd Smart Grid Basic Plan, and acts as a member of Vesting Contract Committee in the Korea Power Exchange.
