After graduating from the Department of Economics at Seoul National University, Dr. Taiki Lee received his Master's and PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago. After working for 10 years at the Bank of Korea, he is currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Finance. His main research interests include banking, financial innovation, digitization, virtual assets and regulations. He has experience serving as an administrative officer in the Blue House Economic Advisory Office, an advisor to the G20 Summit Preparatory Committee, a financial advisor directly to the President of the Financial Supervisory Service, and an advisor directly to the Chairman of the Financial Services Commission.
