Biography

Younghoon Lee is the director of the DMZ Peace Center at the Institute of North Korean Studies at Dongguk University. He received a Ph.D. in Economics (2000) from Korea University for “A Study on North Korea\'s Economic Growth and Accumulation System (1956-64): Analysis of the Kaleckian CGE Model”. Major papers include “North Korea\'s \'spontaneous marketization\' and development of economic reforms” (2005), 『Duet of Money and Economic Activities』 (2006, co-author), \"North Korea\'s Monetary and Financial Status and Evaluation of Recent Financial Measures: Focusing on Inflation, Dollarization and Private Finance\" (2015), \"Inter-Korean Economic Cooperation from the Perspective of Peace and Innovation\" (2019), \"Analysis of business activities of North Korean enterprises under the Socialist Corporate Responsible Management System: Application of M.
