Dr. Park, Hyeong-Jung is a senior research fellow at the Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU). His current positions include: Expert Member of Unification Preparation Committee; Member of ROKorea-FRGermany Joint Advisory Council on Foreign Policy for Unification. His main research covers the politics, economy and foreign relations of North Korea, inter-Korean relations, and comparative dictatorships. He was an Eisenhower Fellow in 2002 and a visiting fellow at the Center for East Asia Policy Studies at Brookings from 2006-2007. He has written a number of books and research papers in Korean and English. His recent policy papers and articles in English include: Identifying Driving Forces for Changes and Policy Challenges on the Korean Peninsula(2015-2030)(2015); “Kim Jong-un’s Renewal of Nuclear Strategy and South Korea Policy since 2012”(2014); “The Purge of Jang Song-taek and the Competition for Regency during the Power Succession”(2013); Fiscal Fragmentation and Economic Changes in North Korea (2013).

박형중 통일연구원 선임연구위원
박형중(57)은 북한의 정치와 경제, 남북관계, 북한의 대내외 정책 관련 전문가이다. 박형중은 1992년 독일 마부륵 대학에서 정치학 박사학위를 받았고, 1995년 통일연구원에 입사하여 현재에 이르고 있다. 이 밖에도 박형중은 2017년 현재 민주평통 상임위원, 통일준비위원회 전문위원, 한독통일외교자문회의 위원 등으로 활동하고 있다.
