Biography
George Hara is an Archaeologist and technology venture capitalist. He has served in public office, including as Special Adviser to the Ministry of Finance and Intergovernmental Ambassador to the United Nations.
He is currently Active in Japan, the US, and developing countries in Asia and Africa, and also as Special Adviser to the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister of Japan. He is a former or current Chairman or Board Member of technology ventures such as Fortinet (cybersecurity), Borland, Oplus Technology (merged with INTEL), BroadWare (merged with CISCO), and many other companies. He is leading regenerative medicine and advanced healthcare technologies as Prof.of Medical School, Osaka Univ, and an adviser of SALK Institute.
