Ian은 인도네시아의 조경 건축가이며, 현재 서울대학교에서 스마트시티 글로벌 융합 전공으로 조경학 석사 과정을 밟고 있다. 민간 및 공공 프로젝트에서 유니버설 디자인을 반영한 조경을 디자인한 수년간의 경험을 가지고 있으며, 시각 장애인과 휠체어 사용자들에게 편리한 디자인을 펼쳐오고 있다.

포용적인 도시 관련 금번 워크숍은 물리적으로 도시를 디자인하는 것 외에도 구현할 수 있는 수많은 혁신적인 아이디어에 대해 깊이 배울 수 있었다. 광주 팀과 함께 시각 장애인 및 장애인을 위한 유니버설 디자인에 대한 지식을 공유하고 일부 도시에 이미 구축된 현재 인프라를 개선하는 방법을 배웠다.

Ian is a professional landscape architect in her country, Indonesia, and now pursuing a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, with an integrated major in Smart City Global Convergence at Seoul National University. Having years of experience in designing landscape universal design both in private and public projects, she always considered her designs to be disabled-friendly, particularly for visually impaired people and wheelchair users people. This shaping the inclusive city workshop became her special platform to learn more deeply through so many innovative ideas that are possible to implement besides designing the city physically. With the Gwangju team, she shared her knowledge in universal design for the visually impaired and disabled people in particular and learned how to improve current infrastructures that are already built in some cities.
