Biography
현재 아주대학교 국제대학원에 재학생이자 연구원이다. 2016년 4월부터 필리핀에 기반을 둔 청소년 비영리 단체, Alpha Team Organization-ATO, Inc.의 기후 교육 이니셔티브인 ClimateEducate 프로젝트에 지속적인 자원 봉사 및 기여를 이어왔다.
또한 2017년 11월부터 2018년 6월까지 필리핀 중부 Panay 섬의 Pandan에 있는 고향에서 맹그로브 재활, 지역사회 역량 구축 및 생계 개발에 중점을 둔 ATO – Mag-aba 맹그로브 재조림 프로젝트의 연구 및 아웃리치 코디네이터로 활동했다.
대학 시절부터 노스웨스트 파나이 반도 자연공원(Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park) 또는 NWPPNP의 보전과 필리핀 중부의 지역 습지 보전과 관련된 정책 옹호에 참여해 왔다.
I’m currently a postgraduate student and researcher for civil society studies of Ajou University - Graduate School of International Studies in South Korea. Most of my volunteer experiences have been in the ClimatEducate Project, a climate education initiative of the Alpha Team Organization-ATO, Inc. – a Philippines-based youth non-profit organization since April 2016.
I also worked as a Research and Outreach Coordinator for the ATO – Mag-aba Mangrove Reforestation Project in my hometown in Pandan, Panay Island, Central Philippines from November 2017-June 2018, focusing on mangrove rehabilitation, community capacity-building, and livelihood development.
He had been engaged to policy advocacy since his college years, particularly related to conservation of the Northwest Panay Peninsula Natural Park or NWPPNP and local wetland conservation in Central Philippines.
