Dayana Bulatbekova is a participant in the 19th UNITAR CIFAL Jeju Youth Workshop for Shaping Peaceful and Inclusive Cities of Tomorrow. She is passionate about city development being a student of Urban Engineering major at UNIST. Currently, Dayana is exploring urban planning as a research intern at Urban Planning & Analytics lab. In the workshop, child-friendly cities were the prime focus of her research. Eager to contribute, she was responsible for creating a mobile app design and providing insights into child behavior for her group. The result of the hard labor of her and her teammates is “아이 World”, a mobile platform for kids to share their voices and be heard by the government. She hopes that with this app every child will be able to live in a safe and engaging city.
