Biography
UNITAR CIFAL Jeju 19th Youth Workshop에 참가한 Suman Biswas는 건강하고 포용적인 사회를 만들기 위한 열정을 가진 'Child-Friendly Bamboo Park' 팀 소속이다. 본 팀은 어린이, 청소년, 노인까지, 모두가 지역에서 안전하고 건강한 도시 생활을 할 수 있는 아동친화적인 도시를 만들기 위해 노력하고 있다. 제주포럼을 통해 생활 환경을 개선하고, 건강한 포용 도시를 만들기 위한 지속가능하면서 쉽고 합리적인 솔루션을 공유하고자 한다.
현재 Suman Biswas는 KOICA-SKKU 석사과정인 성균관대학교 글로벌스마트시티 석사과정에 재학중이다. 모국에서 건축학 학사를 마치고 현재는 방글라데시 주택 및 공공 사업부의 건축학에서 총괄 건축가로 일하고 있다. 여행, 다양한 문화와 음식 탐험을 즐긴다.
Suman Biswas, as participant of the UNITAR CIFAL Jeju 19th Youth Workshop, belongs to the team named ‘Child-Friendly Bamboo Park’ who is passionate to make a healthy, and inclusive society. The team is working to make a child-friendly city to ensure a sustainable, green and clean environment where all the children, youngs and elders will find a safe, secure and healthy urban life. Through the magnificent Jeju Forum, they would like to share their sustainable, easy and cheapest solution for improving the living environment as well as ensuring a healthy inclusive city.
Currently Suman is a graduate student in the Dept. of Global Smart City in Sungkyunkwan University which is a KOICA-SKKU master’s program. He completed his Bachelor in Architecture in his home country and now he has been working as an Executive Architect in the Dept. of Architecture under Ministry of Housing and Public Works in Bangladesh. He loves to travel and explore different cultures and their food.
