Biography
웰던 엡은 캐나다 외교부 동북아시아국 국장이다. 1999년부터 캐나다 외교부에 입부한 후 베이징, 타이페이, 자카르타에서 근무하였고, 광저우와 상하이 총영사를 지냈다. 그는 퀸스 대학교에서 행정학 석사 학위를 받았고, 매니토바 대학교에서 문학사(역사학, 우등학위)를 받았다.
Weldon Epp is the director general of the North East Asia Bureau at Global Affairs Canada. Having started at Global Affairs Canada in 1999, his past experience includes postings in Beijing, Taipei, and Jakarta, and he has served as consul general in Guangzhou and Shanghai. He holds a master in public administration from Queen’s University and a bachelor of arts (history, with honours) from the University of Manitoba.
