Biography
곽진규 단장은 제주국제자유도시개발센터(JDC) 과기단지운영단장으로 제주첨단과학기술단지를 비롯해 제주 지역 내 중소, 벤처기업 육성정책을 수립해 기업지원을 총괄하고 있다.
㈜신세계백화점과 소니코리아를 거쳐 2002년부터 현재까지 JDC에서 기획조정실장, 미래사업처장 등 기획 및 사업 부서장을 두루 역임하였으며, 그 공로를 인정받아 국토교통부 장관 표창과 국회 국토교통위원회 위원장 표창을 수상한 바 있다. 니혼대 대학원 경영학 석사(MBA)를 취득하였다.

Jin Kyu Gwak has served as a head of departments such as Future Busienss, Planning and Coordination, in charge of panning and launching projects, since 2002 after his experience in Shinsegae and Sony Korea. Having being recognized in his career, Jin Kyu Gwak has been awarded Commendation of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and Chairman’s Commendation of National Land and Transportation Committee. Jin Kyu Gwak has achieved an MBA in Nihon University.
