Biography

Professor Taesik Lee obtained his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Seoul National University and his master's and doctoral degrees in Construction Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. He has served as the President of the Korea Institute of Civil Engineering and Building Technology and Vice President of the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST). Currently, he is active as the CTO of Eco-BHL & International Space Exploration Research Institute, a director of the International Moonbase Alliance, and the President of the Gyeonggi Provincial Science and Technology Association as well as the Council of 13 Regional Associations of KOFST. He was elected as the 21st President of KOFST for a three-year term from March 2023 to February 2026.
