Biography
로렌트 고첼은 스위스피스(Swisspeace)의 소장이자, 바젤 대학교의 정치학 교수이다. 그는 하버드 대학교와 컬럼비아 대학교의 방문연구원이자 브뤼셀 소재 유럽평화연구소의 선임 연구원이었다. 그는 이전에 AP통신의 기자 및 스위스 외무장관의 정치 고문으로 근무하였다. 그는 개발도상국과의 연구파트너십을 위한 스위스위원회(Swiss Commission for Research Partnerships with Developing Countries)의 회원이다.
Laurent Goetschel is director of swisspeace and professor of political science at the University of Basel. He has been a visiting scholar at Harvard University and Columbia University as well as senior fellow with the European Institute for Peace in Brussels. He previously also worked as a journalist with the Associated Press and as a political advisor to the Swiss Foreign Minister. He is a member of the Swiss Commission for Research Partnerships with Developing Countries.
