Hector Guerra is the director of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines and Cluster Munitions Coalition (ICBL-CMC). A specialist in international relations, and a policy and advocacy practitioner, he has been part of the civil society movement for humanitarian disarmament, for nearly 20 years. During this time, as a member of different campaigns, he has taken part in multilateral processes and international discussions on small arms and light weapons, nuclear disarmament, the use of explosive weapons in populated areas, and armed drones, among other issues. Additionally, he has worked in the field of human rights, both in the civil society and in the intergovernmental sectors.
