한국항공우주산업㈜ 윤종호 전무는 2020년 7월부터 기술혁신센터장을 역임하고 있으며, 20여년간 항공기 기체설계/해석, 운용분석/수명관리 및 고정익 Chief Engineer로서의 업무경험을 보유하고 있다. 현재, 위성체와 발사체의 구조설계/제작, 재료/공정개발, 발사/궤도 환경시험 등의 업무도 지원하며, 미래 우주산업에 필요한 요소기술 선행연구에 일조하고 있다. 지난 30년간, 운용환경에서의 금속재와 복합재의 열/점탄성적 재료거동에 대한 연구를 주로 해왔으며, 최근에는 비행체 구조의 예지정비/총수명주기분석 등의 연구에 매진 중이다. 서울대학교에서 기계공학을 전공하였으며, Texas A&M 대학에서 항공공학 박사학위를 마친 후, 연구소/대학교 등에서 연구활동을 수행했으며, 2000년 3월에 ㈜한국항공에 입사하여 현재까지 재직 중이다.

As the present incumbent of EVP & CTO, Chongho YOON has been leading Center for Technology Innovation, Korea Aerospace Industries, Ltd., since the July, 2020. He also served as the Fixed-Wing Chief Engineer, with expertise in airframe design, durability/damage-tolerance analyses and usage/service-life analyses. Currently, with his staff engineers, he pursues elementary technologies necessary for the future space industries, focusing on the structural design/manufacturing, material characterization, process development , and space environmental test-works. For the last 30 years, his field of interest was thermo-viscoelastic behavior of metallic and composite materials, and recent days, also includes logistics support such as total service-life and prognostic health monitoring/maintenance technologies. He has been with KAI since March, 2000, after attaining Ph.D. from Texas A&M University (Aerospace & Astronautics) and B.S. from Seoul National University (Mechanical Engineering).
