Chairman Lee majored in Business Administration at Dongguk University and got a Master's Degree of Urban Planning from Seoul National University, and completed a Doctorate Degree of Tourism at Hanyang University. After being in the position of Director General of Development Headquarters and Vice Chairman in JDC, and Head of the Administration office in the Gyeonggi Culture Foundation, Director of Namhansanseong Culture and Tourism Initiatives, and Adjunct Professor of the Department of Culture and Art Tourism in University of Seoul, he has been chairing and managing JDC after being inaugurated as 7th chairman of the company.
