Emily Lunz is a senior writer at CNN International’s World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. She covers the news of the day, with an emphasis on the Koreas, and also copy edits. Prior to her career at CNNI, she was a local news producer at the ABC affiliate in Minneapolis-St. Paul (KSTP), the NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona (KPNX) and the CBS affiliate in Fresno, California (KGPE). Ms. Lunz holds an MA from the University of Southern California, a BA from the University of Minnesota, and an HDp from Rhodes University in South Africa. She is also a former Rotary ambassadorial scholar who spent a year studying and volunteering in Grahamstown, South Africa.
