Biography
Seunghyun Nam is an Associate Professor at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy and Head of the Center for International Law. She has previously taught at the Graduate School of International Studies and Division of International Studies at Korea University and the Division of Language and Diplomacy at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and served as a Research Professor for the SSK Human Rights Forum. She received her SJD from the University of University of Pennsylvania Law School with a Fulbright scholarship, her Master’s in Law (Magister Juris) from Oxford University and Korea University, and her Bachelor of Law from Korea University. Her research interests lie in the intersection of global governance and international human rights law, business and human rights, and new technology, and has published articles in the Human Rights Quarterly, the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law, the Journal of International Criminal Justice with a forthcoming article in the Journal of Human Rights.
