Kangwook Han, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science and Diplomacy at Jeonbuk National University. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science at Michigan State University in 2020. His research interests lie in the intersection between comparative political economy and comparative political institutions. More specifically, he studies authoritarian politics, political leadership, redistributive politics, and public opinion in developing countries, including Sub-Saharan Africa. His work has been published and forthcoming in Comparative Political Studies, Foreign Policy Analysis, International Political Science Review, and Political Studies.
