MUN Gyong Su is an expert and educator on contemporary Korean history and Zainichi Koreans. After becoming an assistant professor in the Faculty of International Relations at Ritsumeikan University in 1994, he became a professor in 1998 and served as the dean of the faculty (standing director of Ritsumeikan University) from 2013-2015. As an individual author, he has authored numerous papers, such as “New Modern History of Korea” and “The Origin of the Problem of Zainichi Koreans”.
