John R. EPERJESI is a professor at Kyunghee University's School of English Language and Literature. He received his PhD in Literature and Literary Theory from Carnegie Mellon University. His writings have been focused on environmental literature and ecological criticism, and even though he is an American, he also criticized American imperialism. Major studies include “Caves as Storied Matter: The Jeju April 3 Events and U.S. Imperialism” and many others.
