Biography
Dr. Pier Luigi Sacco is a professor of Economics at the University of Chietti-Pescara, a senior researcher at META LAB at Harvard University, and a senior advisor to the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). He also served as a special advisor to the EU Commissioner to Education, and Culture, and as a member of the Cultural Economy and Technology Committee of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
In addition to lectures at major universities around the world, he consults in the fields of culture-driven regional development. Even now, he actively continues to practice various cultural studies and activities with the fundamental question of why culture is so important to humans.
