Biography
박지영은 경제사회연구원 기술정책센터장이다. 서울대학교에서 핵공학 학사와 석사, 미국 University of Michigan에서 핵공학 박사학위를 취득하였으며 서울대학교 정책학 석사학위도 취득하였다. 2000년부터 2012년까지 한국과학기술기획평가원에 재직하며 R&D 타당성조사 센터장을 역임하였다. 2012년부터 2022년 2월까지는 아산정책연구원의 핵정책기술센터, 글로벌거버넌스센터, 과학기술정책센터장 등을 역임하였으며 주요연구분야는 핵정책, 과학기술과 혁신, 과학기술과 안보정책 등이다. 최근에는 디지털전환에 따른 기술패권경쟁과 기술디커플링 등의 연구를 수행하고 있다.
Dr. PARK Jiyoung is a director of the Technology Policy Center at the Research Institute for Economy and Society. She was a senior fellow at the Asan Institute for Policy Studies. Previously, she was a research fellow and managing director of the R&D Feasibility Analysis Center at the Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning (KISTEP) and also a visiting research scientist at the Center for Innovation at the University of Maryland. Dr. Park’s research focuses on the nuclear policy, technology and innovation, and technology and security issues. Dr. Park received her B.S. and M.S. in nuclear engineering and an M.S. in public policy from Seoul National University and her Ph.D. in nuclear engineering and radiological sciences from the University of Michigan.
