Lee Saegil, Communications Associate of UNHCR Representation in the Republic of Korea, works to raise public awareness of refugee issues. His duties include communicating with the media to ensure timely coverage of significant refugee issues, managing social media channels to deliver the stories of refugees to the public in a soft manner, producing documentary films about refugees, planning public events on meaningful days, such as World Refugee Day, and more. Through these works, he aims to help the public have a more precise and deeper understanding of refugees, thus garnering greater support for refugees around the world.
