Biography
Won Geun Choi is a Research Professor at the Center for International Development Cooperation, Kyung Hee University. He received a Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa in May 2020. His dissertation is “Advancing Refugee Protection from Bottom Up: Case of the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network (APRRN)”. His current research area cover refugee, human rights, international development cooperation, global governance, and civil society. He was a founding member and a program manager of NANCEN (Center for Refugee Rights) from 2009 to 2012. He was also a deputy-chair of the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network(APRRN) East Asian Working Group from 2010-2012.
