Biography
왕이웨이는 중국 인민대학교 장 모네 석좌교수, 시진핑 신시대 중국 특색 사회주의사상학원 부원장, 국제문제연구소 소장, 중국 인민대학교 유럽연구센터 소장을 맡고 있다. 그는 CCPIT 자문 위원회와 터키 TRT 세계 포럼의 전문 고문으로도 활동하고 있으며, 중국국제경제교류센터(CCIEE)와 중국인민외교연구소(CPIFA)의 위원이기도 하다. 왕이웨이는 1995년 동중국과학기술대학교에서 환경감시학사 학위를 받았으며 2001년 푸단대학교 국제정치학과에서 박사 학위를 받았다. 그의 주요 연구 분야는 BRI 연구, 유럽 연구, 공공 외교, 중국 외교 등이 있다. 그는 학부생을 대상으로 중국 외교정책, EU 정치 및 경제를 가르치고 있고, 대학원생을 대상으로 공공외교학, 미래 공유를 위한 국제사회 연구를 가르치고 있다. 이전에는 주유럽연합 중국대표부(2008~2011) 외교관과 통지대학교 미국센터 교수(2011~2013)를 역임하였으며, 푸단대학교(2001-2008)와 연세대학교 초빙교수(2005), 예일대학교 폭스 펠로(2000-2001)를 지냈다.
WANG Yiwei is Jean Monnet Chair Professor, Vice President of Academy of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Director of Institute of International Affairs, Director of Center for European Studies at Renmin University of China. He is expert adviser of CCPIT Advisory Committee and Turkish TRT World Forum. The Council Member of China Center for International Economic Exchanges, CCIEE) and Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) . He got his BA in Environment Monitoring from East China University of Science & Technology in 1993, BA and Ph.D from department of international politics at Fudan University (1998, 2001). His major research interests includes BRI studies, European Studies, Public Diplomacy and Chinese Foreign Affairs. He is teaching Chinese Foreign Policy, EU Politics and Economy for Undergraduate and Public Diplomacy studies and Studies for Global Community of Shared Future for Postgraduate He was formerly diplomat at Chinese Mission to the European Union (2008-2011) and distinguished professor at Tongji University (2011-2013), professor of Center for American Studies at Fudan University (2001-2008), visiting professor of Yonsei University (2005) and Fox Fellow of Yale University (2000-2001).
