Biography
Shinyo 박사는 1972년 일본 외무성에 들어가 40년간 외교관으로 근무했다. 다자협력국의 국장을 지낸 후, 유엔 주재 일본 대사와 주독일 일본 대사로 임명되었다. 2012년 정년퇴임하였고, Kwansei Gakuin University의 부총장(2012~2018)을 지냈다. Shinyo 박사는 일본어로 된 유엔과 외교 정책에 관한 많은 책을 집필하였으며, 그 중 하나는 독일어로 번역되어 2015년 “Japans aussenpolitische Strategie in einer multipolaren Welt” (IUDICIUM Verlag)라는 제목으로 출판되었다. Shinyo 박사는 일본어, 영어, 독일어를 한다.
Dr. Shinyo joined the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1972 and served for 40 years as a diplomat. After serving as Director-General of the Multilateral Cooperation Department he was appointed as Ambassador of Japan to the United Nations and finally Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany. He retired from the Ministry in 2012 and assumed the post of Vice-President of Kwansei Gakuin University (2012-2018). He is the author of many books on UN and Foreign Policy in the Japanese language. One of his books was translated into German and published under the title “Japans aussenpolitische Strategie in einer multipolaren Welt”, IUDICIUM Verlag, 2015. He speaks Japanese, English and German.
