Dr. CHU Jang Min obtained his Ph.D. from Peking University in 2002 and was a TF team leader of Korean Peninsula Future Environment; he is head of the Division of Environmental Strategies at Korea Environment Institute. He is a consultant of the National Unification Advisory Council, a member of the Central Environmental Policy Committee and Dust and Sand Storm Committee under the Ministry of Environment of Korea, and a member of the Cooperation Committee between South and North Korea under the Korea Meteorological Administration. His major research fields are Environmental Governance in Northeast Asia, Chinese Environmental Policy, North Korea Environmental Issues, and Environmental Welfare.
