Biography

Junseong An received a B.A. in telecommunications, a J.D. from Michigan State University, an LL.M. from John Marshall Law School (IT and Privacy Law) in Chicago, and an M.A. in telecommunications from George Washington University. He lectures on the Theory and Practice of Negotiation, International Business Law, and Global Challenges in Information Technology Law at Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies (Yonsei GSIS). While working as a research fellow at the Center for IT Trade Strategy of the Korea Information Society Development Institute (KISDI), he acted as a legal advisor for the Ministry of Information and Communication (now the Korea Communications Commission or KCC) at the negotiations for the Korea-Singapore FTA, the Korea-Japan FTA, the Korea-EFTA FTA, and the Korea-US Quarterly Action Meetings. In addition, he worked as a Foreign Legal Consultant (FLC) for the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Practice Group in Kim & Chang to advise on cross-border transactions such as foreign direct investment (FDI) and global mergers and acquisitions.
