
Biography
Dr. Sang Ki Kim received his B.E. and M.A. at Chung-Ang University and obtained his Ph.D. in Political Science at the University of Iowa, USA. He served as a research fellow at the Institute for Far Eastern Studies at Kyungnam University and is currently a research fellow at the Korean Institute for National Unification(KINU). He also worked as a policy advisor to the Minister of Unification from May 2019 to June 2020. Dr. Kim’s major research areas include inter-Korean relations, North Korea–U.S. relations, peace regimes on the Korean Peninsula, and U.S. foreign policy. His recent publications are Plans and Suggestions for Peace Treaty on the Korean Peninsula (Co-authored, 2019, in Korean), Building Peace Regime on the Korean Peninsula and ROK-U.S. Relations (Co-authored, 2018, in Korean).
