Biography
김원진 전 대사는 2021년부터 국립외교원 일본연구센터 고문 겸 겸임교수로 재직 중이다. 김 고문은 직업외교관으로서 주일본공사, 주캄보디아대사, 주홍콩총영사 등을 역임하였다. 그는 연세대학교 경영학과를 졸업하였다.
Amb.(ret.) KIM Weon-jin is the Counsel of the Center for Japanese Studies at the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security(IFANS) and Adjunct Professor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) since 2021. Prior to joining the KNDA, he, as a career diplomat and served as Minister of Korean Embassy in Japan (2013-2014), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Cambodia(2014-2017), and Consul-General of Korean Consulate General in Hong Kong(2018-2021). He graduated from Yonsei University with B.A. in Business Administration.
