Biography
John Junggun OH is currently President of the Korea Finance ICT Convergence Association (FICA).
He was formerly a Professor of Finance IT at Konkuk University, a Professor of Economics at Korea University, Seoul, Korea, a Senior Visiting Research Fellow at Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI), Seoul, Korea, President of Asia Finance Society (AFS), and President of Korea International Finance Association (KIFA).
Before joining Korea University in 2009, he worked as Director of Research at South East Asian Central Banks (SEACEN), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and as Director General of the Bank of Korea where he has served for 30 years. He was also a Visiting Fellow at the IFO Institute for Economic Research, Munich, Germany, and has been an external consultant, at UN ESCAP (Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific).
