Biography
Jeongho Nam is one of Korea's leading international journalists with more than 33 years of field experience and a Ph.D. degree. He is now working as a columnist at the JoongAng Ilbo, one of the biggest and most prestigious newspapers in Korea. He has specialized in international affairs covering a wide range of topics from celebrity interviews to national security issues. Mr. Nam’s abilities are not confined to the media. He is the Director of the Center for UN and Global Studies and teaches at Ewha Womans University, one of the most prestigious universities in Korea as well as Kwangwoon University using his expertise. His doctoral thesis was a research on the United Nations Command in Korea, which is becoming increasingly important. Mr. Nam received his Ph.D. degree in International Relations in 2021 and got M.Sc. in the same major from the London School of Economics in London (1986) and his B.A. in economics from the Seoul National University in Seoul (1985).
