Biography
Lars Larsen 박사는 독일 아욱스부르크대학교에서 컴퓨터과학 및 멀티미디어학 전공 학·석사 학위를 받았고, 그 후 그는 잠시 산업분야에서 일하면서 뮌헨의 루드비히-막시밀리안대학교에서 “소의 자동 열 감지 연구 개발” 프로젝트에 참여하기도 하였다. 2010년 9월부터 그는 아욱스부르크에 있는 독일 항공우주센터(DLR)에 합류하여 항공우주 응용분야를 위한 경량 구조물의 생산 기술을 연구하고 있으며, 그의 전문 분야는 자동화 기술과 인공지능이다. 연구원과 프로젝트 관리자로 일한 후 Larsen 박사는 독일 항공우주센터(DLR)의 인재관리프로그램을 우수한 성적으로 완료하고 현재 조립 및 결합 기술의 그룹 리더를 맡고 있다. 그룹의 주요 주제는 자동 조립을 위한 용접 및 접합 기술 관련 시스템 개발이다. 2019년에 그는 산업용 로봇의 AI 기반 자동 경로 탐색을 다루는 논문으로 아욱스부르크대학교에서 컴퓨터과학 박사학위를 받았으며, 박사 과정 동안 그는 동 대학원에서 계산지능 등 다수의 강의를 담당하였다.
Dr.-Ing. Lars Larsen received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in computer science and multimedia from the University of Augsburg, Germany where he focused on machine learning. After his studies he was working in the commercial sphere and in parallel he was involved in a research project at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich which explored the automatic heat detection of cows. In September 2010 he joined the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Augsburg where he works on production technology for lightweight structures for aerospace applications. His areas of expertise are automation technology and artificial intelligence. After working as a scientific employee and project manager, Dr. Larsen successfully completed the Talent Management Program of the DLR and is currently group leader for assembly and joining technologies. The main topics of the group are welding and bonding technologies and systems for automated assembly. In 2019 he finished his PhD in Computer Science in which he dealt with AI-based automatic path planning of industrial robots. During his PhD, Dr. Larsen held lectures with the topic computational intelligence at the University of Augsburg.
