Prof. Ho Sang Kang is a collaboration professor at the Institutes of Green Bio Science and Technology (GBST), Seoul National University. He had a lot of experience in the development, management, and implementation of international cooperation projects in Northeast Asia including DPR Korea, ASEAN, Central Asian countries, Central America, and Africa. He was also a secretary general of the ASEAN-Korea Environmental Cooperation Project (AKECOP, 2009 – 2018) and is now the Executive Director of Asia Forest Institute, implementing various international projects including KOICA, Asia Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO), etc. He has participated as an officeholder in the International of Forest Research Organizations (IUFRO) since 2007 and managing a research group on long-term research on forest ecosystem management as coordinator since 2013. He has organized IUFRO workshops on the capacity building of forest-related government officers and researchers for DPRK from 2005 to 2019.
