Biography
Dr. Tae Eun Min is a research fellow of the Peace Research Division at the Korea Institute for National Unification(KINU). She received her MA degree from the University of Chicago, Ph. D degree from the University of Iowa, majoring in Political science. Her major areas of interest are American politics, US Foreign Policy, public opinion, and South Korea’s Unification Policy. She has published numerous reports, articles and books on Korea–U.S. Relations, South Korea’s unification policy, North Korea’s nuclear issues and North Korean defectors, including “ U.S.’s Peace Policy and Prospects: Building Peace on the Korean Peninsula via ROK-U.S. Relations (2021)”, “The U.S.’s Sanctions against North Korea: Political Background and Legal Analysis(2020)” “Unification and North Korean Policy involving the General Public(2018, 2019, 2020, 2021)” “American Attitudes toward Free Trade Agreement,” (2017),“Grand Unification Plan(2016, 2017)”.
