Biography
존 허드슨은 워싱턴포스트의 국무부 출입 및 외교안보담당 기자이다. 전쟁 취재를 마치고 우크라이나에서 제주로 넘어와 2022년 제주포럼에 참석 중이다. 존 허드슨은 자말 카쇼기 피살 사건을 심층 취재한 워싱턴포스트 취재팀 일원으로 퓰리처상 최종작에 이름을 올렸다. 포린폴리시, 버즈피드 뉴스 등에서 외교안보 이슈들을 주로 취재하였고, 아프가니스탄, 우크라이나, 파키스탄, 말레이시아, 베트남, 콜롬비아, 중국, 조지아 등 지정학적으로 민감한 다수 지역들에서 특파원 생활을 거쳤다. 2008년에는 트빌리시와 분리독립 지역인 압하지아에서 러시아-조지아 간 8월 전쟁 사태를 취재했다.
