Youn Soo Lee, since 1994 when she joined the Korea International Cooperation Agency which is the Korean government’s grant aid agency, has been engaged in international development cooperation to support the poverty reduction and sustainable development of developing countries. She served as head of the NGO Team, Strategic Planning Team, Multilateral Cooperation & Humanitarian Assistance Department, Capacity Development Department, Country Program Planning & Coordination Department, and Country Director of the KOICA Myanmar Office. She also served in KOICA’s overseas offices in Fiji, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Since July 2021, she has been working as Director General for the Climate Crisis and Pandemic Response Department, responsible for support for climate change and pandemic response of developing partner countries and KOICA’s engagement with the Green Climate Fund as an accredited entity.
