Biography
이경주는 KCOC(국제개발협력민간협의회)에서 HnD(Humanitarian and Development Department)에서 2013년부터 현재까지 인도적 지원 업무를 담당하고 있다. 국내외 인도적 지원 정책, KCOC 회원단체가 적시에 책무성 있는 인도적 지원 활동이 가능하도록 하는 역량강화, 재원 배분 및 성과관리 등의 업무를 총괄하고 있다. 이전에는 행정안전부 국립재난안전연구원에서 국내 자연재해 저감 관련 국가 R&D 분야에서 활동하였고, 학부에서는 토목공학을 전공하였고, 대학원에서는 수공학을 전공하였다.
Kyoungjoo Lee has been in charge of humanitarian assistance from 2013 to the present in the Humanitarian and Development Department(HnD) at the KCOC (Korea NGO Council for Overseas Development Cooperation). She is in charge of domestic and international humanitarian assistance policies, capacity building that enables KCOC member organizations to conduct timely and responsible humanitarian aid activities, resource allocation, and performance management. Previously, She worked in the national R&D field related to the reduction of natural disasters at the National Institute of Disaster and Safety at the Ministry of Public Administration and Security.
