Soojung Kim is an Associate Research Fellow of the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics & Trade and is conducting research on the North Korean industry. In 2017, she is granted a Ph. D. in Economics from Korea University, majoring in Development Economics (Dissertation title: Three Essays on the Sustainable Development: Focusing on the Environment, Life Satisfaction and the Development of Economic-transition Countries). Research topics of interest are inter-Korean industrial cooperation and North Korea’s sustainable development and green & energy transition.
