Amb. LEE Yang Goo was born in 1959 on the 11th of October. He graduated Han Yang University with a bachelor's degree in political science and studied Russian Language at the Defense Language Institute, USA. He is honorary professor at Kazakstan National Economic University(2009), honoury phd by National Foreign Language, Ukraine(2018). Joined the Foreign Ministry in 1984, he served in Russia, Kazakstan, Los Angeles, France, and Ukraine as ambassador of Ukraine and consul-general of Vladivostok. After retiring from Foreign Ministry in 2019, has worked as a professor for Kyungsang National University and as president of the Northeast Asian Culture Foundation. Has promoted cooperation between Korea and CIS countries, UN SDGs, and Global leadership. He Is author "challenge for Eurasian Dream(2014)”, co-author “new principle for Foreign Policy & National Security(2021)”
