Dmytro Ponomarenko has served as the Ambassador of Ukraine to Korea since February 2022. Before relocating to Korea, he served as the Director General of the Asia-Pacific region and the Economic Diplomacy division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and held various posts, such as consul general and trade representative at the Ukraine embassy in the People’s Republic of China. He earned an MBA from the Kyiv National Trade and Economic University.
