Sang-Woo LEE acquired a doctorate in political diplomacy and joined the Saemaul Foundation. He recognizes the importance of the Saemaul Movement as a momentum for rural development in developing countries and is working on applying and practicing the Saemaul Undong methodology to rural areas in developing countries. Also, he served as the director of the Vietnamese office, and while serving as the director, he opened the Institute of Saemaul Undong-Rural Development in Vietnam and held the Saemaul International Forum. He has conducted overseas Saemaul pilot village projects and Saemaul invitation training and is currently in charge of strategic establishment and planning in the strategic planning department.
